Academic & Media Partnership Program
Connecting education, creative practice, and public media through meaningful collaboration.
The Academic & Media Partnership Program develops collaborations with colleges, universities, educational institutions, public-media organizations, cultural institutions, and creative-industry partners to expand access to experiential learning, professional knowledge, and public engagement. Through guest lectures, workshops, masterclasses, classroom collaborations, filmed conversations, documentary storytelling, collaborative productions, and behind-the-scenes learning experiences, the program connects academic education with current creative-industry practice.
These partnerships give students, emerging artists, and early-career creative professionals opportunities to learn from experienced practitioners, explore professional production workflows, understand multidisciplinary career pathways, and apply classroom knowledge in real-world contexts. They also support the creation of accessible educational and cultural content that elevates independent voices, documents creative work, and brings meaningful artistic stories to broader public audiences.
Creative Leadership & Learning Program
Bringing creative insight, professional experience, and industry knowledge within reach.
The Industry Voices: Creative Leadership & Learning Program connects emerging artists, students, musicians, producers, and early-career creative professionals with the knowledge and perspectives of established leaders across music, media, and the creative industries. Through filmed conversations, in-depth interviews, masterclasses, and documentary-style educational content, the program explores creative practice, production, collaboration, artist development, leadership, entrepreneurship, and the realities of building a sustainable creative career.
As part of this program, Realm26 collaborated with the GroundUP Music Foundation to host and produce an in-depth conversation with Michael League, GRAMMY Award–winning musician, producer, composer, founder of Snarky Puppy, and founder of GroundUP Music. The conversation examined his experience across music creation, production, collaboration, artist development, and the broader creative process.
By transforming firsthand professional experience into accessible educational resources, the program brings industry knowledge beyond the studio and makes it available to artists, students, educators, and emerging creative professionals seeking practical insight, inspiration, and a deeper understanding of the creative industries.
Public Media & Cultural Storytelling Program
Documenting creative communities. Elevating independent voices. Reaching broader audiences.
The Public Media & Cultural Storytelling Program uses documentary storytelling, interviews, public-media features, and behind-the-scenes narratives to elevate independent creative voices and deepen public understanding of the people, spaces, and communities shaping contemporary music and culture. By bringing these stories to broader audiences, the program highlights the social and cultural value of accessible creative spaces while documenting artistic work, collaboration, and community development.
As part of this area of work, Realm26 was featured by South Florida PBS / WPBT2 in This Music Studio in Fort Lauderdale Is Keeping Music Human, a public-media profile exploring Realm26’s mission and growing creative community. The feature follows Realm26 Founder and Artistic Producer Ignacio Palladino and examines how Realm26 developed into an environment centered on authentic performance, artistic collaboration, and human connection.
Through interviews and behind-the-scenes storytelling, the PBS feature introduced Realm26’s work to a wider public audience and underscored the importance of spaces where independent musicians can create, collaborate, strengthen their artistic voices, and connect through music.
Academic Partnerships & Experiential Learning Program
Connecting classroom learning with real-world creative-industry practice.
The Academic Partnerships & Experiential Learning Program collaborates with colleges, universities, and other educational institutions to introduce students to professional practices, multidisciplinary workflows, and career pathways across music, audio, film, video, digital media, and creative production. Through guest lectures, classroom collaborations, demonstrations, case studies, production visits, and hands-on learning experiences, the program helps students understand how creative projects are developed from initial concept through professional execution and public release.
Through its collaboration with United International College, Realm26 provided students with an inside look at the complete production of a professional live music session—from creative planning, artist coordination, and pre-production to audio recording, multi-camera filming, editing, post-production, and digital distribution. Drawing on Realm26’s real-world production experience, the class examined the collaboration among artists, producers, audio engineers, filmmakers, editors, and creative directors required to bring a project from concept to completion.
Students explored professional production workflows, artist development, creative and technical decision-making, multidisciplinary teamwork, industry standards, and career opportunities across the creative sector. By connecting academic learning with current professional practice, the experience helped participants identify how their knowledge, skills, and individual interests could translate into hands-on experience, continued education, and future careers in the creative industries.
