Academic & Media Partnership Program
Connecting education, creative practice, and public media through meaningful collaboration.
The Academic & Media Partnership Program develops collaborations with colleges, universities, educational institutions, public-media organizations, cultural institutions, and creative-industry partners to expand access to experiential learning, professional knowledge, and public engagement.
Through guest lectures, workshops, masterclasses, classroom collaborations, filmed conversations, documentary storytelling, collaborative productions, and behind-the-scenes learning experiences, the program connects academic education with current creative-industry practice.
These partnerships give students, emerging artists, and early-career creative professionals opportunities to learn from experienced practitioners, explore professional production workflows, understand multidisciplinary career pathways, and apply classroom knowledge in real-world contexts.
They also support the creation of accessible educational and cultural content that elevates independent voices, documents creative work, and brings meaningful artistic stories to broader public audiences.
Program Experience
Depending on the initiative, participants may attend live or virtual conversations, masterclasses, recorded interviews, question-and-answer sessions, case-study discussions, or related educational programming led by guest artists and industry professionals.
Program topics may include creative process, artistic identity, music production, multidisciplinary collaboration, career development, leadership, entrepreneurship, independent release strategies, professional relationships, creative decision-making, and navigating change within the music and media industries.
These experiences help participants gain practical insight into professional creative practice, broaden their understanding of career pathways, strengthen their decision-making, and learn from the challenges, strategies, and perspectives of established practitioners.

Program opportunities are open to emerging artists, students, recent graduates, educators, musicians, producers, and early-career creative professionals interested in learning from established practitioners across music, media, and the creative industries.
