Realm26 Foundation’s Music & Creative Industries Fellowship Program expands access to the professional resources, mentorship, practical education, and industry relationships that emerging creative professionals need to advance. The fellowship serves musicians, producers, audio engineers, filmmakers, editors, photographers, content creators, and other aspiring professionals—including students and recent graduates—who face financial, geographic, technical, or industry barriers to gaining meaningful professional experience.
Through hands-on training, individualized mentorship, collaborative projects, and participation in professional production environments, fellows may gain experience across recording, mixing, mastering, live-session production, camera operation, lighting, editing, post-production, digital media, artist development, and project coordination. Opportunities vary according to each fellow’s interests, experience, placement, and available productions.
The fellowship is designed to create value that extends beyond a single project. Participants have opportunities to strengthen their technical and creative skills, build competitive portfolios, earn meaningful production credits, develop trusted professional relationships, and understand current industry standards and workflows.
Eligibility & Participation
The fellowship welcomes self-taught creatives, students, recent graduates, independent artists, and early-career professionals from diverse backgrounds, disciplines, musical genres, and levels of formal training. Applicants should be actively pursuing professional development across music, audio, film, video, photography, digital media, live production, or a related creative field.
To be eligible, applicants must:
Be 18 years of age or older when submitting the application.
Demonstrate a clear and sustained commitment to developing a career in music, media, or the creative industries.
Provide evidence of creative or professional potential through original work, previous projects, performances, academic experience, community involvement, technical practice, or other relevant accomplishments.
Identify specific artistic, technical, educational, or career goals that participation in the fellowship would help advance.
Demonstrate limited access to one or more career-building resources, such as professional production, equipment, education, mentorship, funding, industry networks, performance opportunities, or meaningful public exposure.
Be prepared to participate actively, collaborate respectfully, receive constructive feedback, and complete assigned program activities and deliverables.
Meet any scheduling, location, travel, technical, or experience requirements associated with the available fellowship placement.
A college degree, formal industry representation, record-label affiliation, or established commercial audience is not required. Meeting the eligibility requirements does not guarantee acceptance. Fellowship opportunities are selective and may vary according to available funding, production capacity, mentor availability, partner support, and program schedules.
Applicants who are not selected for an immediate placement may be considered for future fellowships, workshops, productions, educational programs, or other Realm26 Foundation initiatives.
