COMMUNITY EDUCATION & MENTORSHIP program
Realm26 Foundation provides emerging artists, students, recent graduates, and early-career creative professionals with practical mentorship and industry-focused education across music, audio, video, and live production. The program is designed to help participants translate creative interest and academic knowledge into applicable skills, professional experience, and a clearer understanding of career pathways within the creative industries. Through workshops, masterclasses, mentorship, demonstrations, collaborative projects, and hands-on learning opportunities, participants may gain exposure to recording, audio engineering, mixing and mastering, live-session production, camera operation, lighting, video capture and editing, post-production workflows, creative direction, artist branding, content development, digital promotion, and professional release preparation. Programming may be led by Realm26 team members, guest artists, producers, engineers, filmmakers, editors, educators, and other experienced industry professionals.
Participants may also have opportunities to observe or contribute to real-world productions, collaborate with local artists and creative teams, receive feedback on their work, and learn how professional projects move from early development through production, post-production, release, and promotion. These experiences help participants strengthen their portfolios, develop professional credits, improve communication and collaboration skills, and become more confident working in multidisciplinary production environments. The program also creates meaningful connections with bands, producers, audio engineers, filmmakers, photographers, editors, studio professionals, educators, media professionals, and other members of the local and broader creative community. By combining education, mentorship, practical experience, and relationship-building, Realm26 Foundation helps participants expand their professional networks, better understand industry standards and expectations, and prepare for sustainable opportunities across music, media, and the creative industries.
APPLICANT ELIGIBILITY
Community Education & Mentorship opportunities are open to emerging artists, students, recent graduates, and early-career creative professionals seeking to develop practical skills and pursue careers in music, media, audio engineering, video production, live production, or related creative fields.
To be considered, applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements:
Demonstrate a genuine interest in developing a career or professional practice within the music, media, or creative industries;
Demonstrate a commitment to learning, professional growth, and active participation;
Demonstrate that limited access to professional mentorship, education, training, equipment, production resources, or industry networks has created barriers to their creative or professional development.
Be prepared to collaborate respectfully, communicate professionally, receive constructive feedback, and comply with applicable program policies and deadlines;
Be available to participate in accordance with the scheduling, location, technical, and program-specific needs of the selected opportunity; and
For advanced mentorship or hands-on production opportunities, applicants may be asked to demonstrate foundational knowledge, relevant experience, or prior training in their area of interest.
Priority may be given to applicants who have limited access to professional education, mentorship, equipment, production environments, or industry networks. Applicants may be self-taught, currently enrolled in an educational program, recent graduates, or early-career professionals. A college degree, formal industry experience, or established professional portfolio is not required unless specified for a particular opportunity.
Program availability, selection, and the scope of support provided are subject to funding, organizational capacity, scheduling, participant readiness, program-specific requirements, and available partner resources.
